Parents finally hold their newborn twins after their father faced death in Michigan

Jen Laubach and her husband Andre Laubach

Jen Laubach and her husband Andre Laubach experienced a rather dramatic, but eventually uplifting, weeks.

Jennifer was struggling against the Coronavirus symptoms just the day that her water broke 8 weeks before the due date.

When the couple was racing to the Beaumont Hospital in Troy (Michigan), it was Andre’s moment to struggle with a violent cough and shortness of breath. On their way to the hospital, they received the call that Andre was found positive to the Coronavirus and the wife had to drive him back home.

Jennifer commented: “When I dropped him back off at home, I was worried that I might not see him again. I was afraid he was going to die in his sleep, and he was all by himself.”

Eventually, Jennifer had to deliver 2 beautiful boys alone (Maksim and Mitch). The little babies had no symptoms of Coronavirus, but they had to go intensive care. Jennifer recalled: “They basically took them away to the other side of the room right away, maybe 15 feet away from me, started cleaning them up. I was looking over to try and get a glimpse of them, and the nurses were kind of holding them up.”

The Laubachs had to be 2 weeks in quarantine before they could finally hold their twins!
