Garbine Muguruza is one of the greats in tennis. The Spaniard conquered 2 slams after clinching the titles in Paris at the French Open (2016) and in Wimbledon (2017). This year, before the Coronavirus pandemic halted the tennis tours, Garbine was also the finalist at the Australian Open.
Muguruza has been spending this “Coronavirus” times at Lake Geneva and she also had the great idea of being involved in a fantastic initiative to support the elderly.
The former world no.1 spent time talking with seniors helping the cause of the Fundación Caser that supports the people in need for free.
Garbine took on social media to also have a shout out in favor of the foundation to say: “These days I have had the opportunity to get up close to the impressive work he does @fundacioncaser attending in its service of accompanying telephone to those who need it. Is free. Thanks to all the professionals and volunteers who make this work possible.”
